About

Why Anchor Risk exists

Employers usually get specialist support only after a workplace injury or claim has already become complex. Anchor Risk was built on a simpler principle: better outcomes start with earlier intervention, clearer strategy and stronger employer capability.

The problem we see

Employers rarely lack good intent. What they lack is a specialist in the room when it counts: the first days after notification, the first suitable duties conversation, the point where a claim starts to drift. By the time outside help is engaged, the decisions that shaped the outcome have usually already been made.

Our philosophy

Advice should be practical, evidence-informed and usable under pressure. We shape each engagement around the organisation, the worker’s certified capacity and how the workplace actually runs, rather than working from a template. We work alongside internal teams rather than replacing them, so capability stays in the business after the engagement ends.

Worker outcomes and commercial outcomes are the same conversation

A worker recovering at work in genuine, well-matched duties is also the outcome that reduces duration, disruption and claims cost. We keep both in view and are clear about which factors an employer can control and which they cannot.
